About Us

Loughton Taekwondo has been established since 2009 teaching the Korean Martial Art and modern Olympic sport of Taekwondo. Loughton Taekwondo is the only club in Essex that is affiliated to British Taekwondo, the National Governing Body for World Taekwondo in the UK. Our club is accessible to everyone regardless of age and and ability, whether you are a complete beginner or a high performance athlete. For younger students our child friendly sessions are fun and aimed to help improve co-ordination, balance and discipline whilst also boosting confidence and developing social skills. Our family sessions give our students an opportunity to train together with their parents, children or siblings, creating closer bonds with each other whilst also improving health and fitness, confidence and self-esteem as well as learning new skills.
